The Founder

Eshiba Malobo Bijoux

As a minority woman, who lived and survived Breast Cancer, my goal is to use my voice and
experiences to drive customized and meaningful solutions for cancer problems and issues
withing my community. I have gone through various chemotherapy sessions enduring physical
and mental suffering as well as financial hardship related to cancer treatment and management.
Therefore, We founded ESHIBA Cancer Care, and we are dedicated to educating, and
increasing community awareness of cancer prevention and the benefit of early detention, in
marginalized communities in Pendergrass and across Metro Atlanta, Georgia.

Goals

ESHIBA Cancer Care aims to support our national cancer prevention and treatment efforts that have the potential to reduce and eliminate health disparities and advance health equity in minority populations. We will be :

01

Providing community health education to raise awareness of the importance of
screening and an early diagnosis of cancer, by giving free lectures and slideshows
presentations titled 'Be Clear on Cancer' (BCoC) in communities centers, religious
institutions, health centers, libraries, and other public venues.

02

Utilizing social media channels and the corporation’s website to provide facts, statistics,
and other related data on causes, current efforts, and solutions to reducing cancer and
its harmful effects, in marginalized communities, across Metro Atlanta, Africa and
worldwide. The presentations are done in English, French, Swahili, and other African
languages.

03

Providing referrals to existing service delivery agencies for screening, early detection, resources, or medical treatment, to maximize our impact on current efforts

04

Sending out volunteer’s ambassadors in vulnerable communities, in Clarkston and
surrounding Counties of Metro Atlanta, to raise awareness about cancer and the benefit of the early-detections, and to hold fundraising events in order to provide immediate non-medical relief and assistance to those suffering from this chronic disease or survivor  children regardless of their race, ethnicity, or religion.
